VocabVerse is designed for personal study from songs while keeping unsuitable sources out of the normal Japanese-learning path.

The short version: use source material you can study privately, keep public examples approved or synthetic, and expect unsuitable lyrics to be blocked or marked for attention.

Accepted study sources

Private-beta learners may search supported providers or paste lyrics they are allowed to use for personal study. Public examples should use synthetic, public-domain, licensed, or creator-provided material.

Unsupported material

Mostly non-Japanese text, romaji-only lyrics, empty lyrics, placeholder text, unavailable sources, or corrupt material should not enter the normal Japanese-study path.

Japanese-language eligibility

The app checks whether lyrics contain enough Japanese-script material to support study. Unsupported sources are blocked or marked as needing attention instead of silently producing an empty lesson.

Mixed-language songs

Mixed Japanese and English songs can be useful, but they require explicit confirmation so learners understand which parts can support Japanese study.

Public demo material

The public demo uses self-written sample lines. It does not use private learner songs, commercial lyric examples, or account study history.

Removal and deletion

Learners can remove songs from their library. Account deletion removes private study data and deletes unshared songs that are no longer referenced.
