Private study data stays private.

VocabVerse stores the account and study information needed to keep songs, lyric context, selected targets, and review history connected for private-beta learners.

The short version: VocabVerse needs personal study data to run a private library, but public examples stay synthetic and account controls include export and deletion.

Data stored

VocabVerse stores the account email, optional display name, song-library links, saved lyrics, learning targets, study items, review attempts, target memory, feedback reports, and processing diagnostics needed to run the private-beta study loop.

Why it is stored

That data lets the app keep lyric context attached to study material, remember review history, show song readiness, support account controls, and diagnose import or analysis failures.

Session data

Sign-in uses a signed HTTP-only session cookie. The current auth flow uses email plus a private-beta access code; email verification, password auth, billing accounts, and role-based accounts are not implemented.

Private library content

Private songs, lyrics, review answers, exports, and account data are not used as public examples. Public demo material is synthetic and separate from learner libraries.

Export and deletion

Signed-in learners can export their account data and delete their account from Settings. Deletion removes user-scoped study data and removes unshared songs when no remaining learner or study item references them.

Current limits

The beta does not yet provide public signup, paid-account controls, email verification, password reset, or a separate support desk.
